Healthy Treat – Brownie Larabars!

I have a sweet tooth, hate to admit it but I DO! So do my kids! This is a great  “snack” when you are craving something sweet. Clean eating sweets, YUM! :) My 9 year old LOVES these as well!!! Unfortunately I feel horrible and cannot remember wh1654346_505554556227711_1966229179_nere exactly I got the recipe (it now resides in my recipe box. So I am sorry if I am not giving credit where credit is due. I found it on Pinterest awhile back.


Brownie Larabars

1 cup walnuts (or any other nut)

1 & 1/3 cup pitted dates

1 tsp vanilla

3 – 4 T cocoa powder

1/8 tsp himalayan salt

Optional chocolate chips (use dark chocolate if you do)

Chop the nuts, cocoa, and salt finely but with still some chunks in it

Blend the pitted dates and vanilla.

With your hands mix the 2 bowls together


Next time I will try to add some protein powder and I will try to update and let you all know how it turns out! :) I would love to hear back from you all to see if you and/or your kids liked these.
